It is no exaggeration to say that Zazzau lost a great stateswoman with the death of Hajiya Bilkisu. Her legacy of compassion, kindness, and generosity will forever be remembered by those whose lives she touched. The youth and women of Zazzau, in particular, lost a mentor, a guardian, and a living history with her passing. Hajiya Bilkisu was an embodiment of all the exemplary qualities that the young should strive to achieve – integrity, humility, and a deep sense of community spirit.
